Come see us First or Last
and find out why we have the highest
quality program in the area, the
most fun and at
a price better than most if not all
Karate schools in the region!
One comment from our MANY
happy Parents
When I first brought my 2
kids to East West Karate I was hoping they would become more
outgoing. I hadn't counted on
the commitment and dedication of the East West Instructors,
Mr. and Mrs. McNally and the impact they would
have on my kids and other students. East West uses self
defense as a tool to teach students Character
Development skills; Confidence, Honesty, Integrity, Respect,
Discipline and Leadership.
Like so many
parents observing classes it is an amazing transformation to
watch as kids, some very introverted, become role
models as leadership members. Kids are taught how to take an
interest in the growth of other students and
to become assistant instructors. Well done East West Karate!
From East West Karate:
The
world of parenting is challenging;
life throws many things at today's kids; some good, some not
so good. There are
no warranties with kids and no instruction
manuals; this sometimes leads
parents to wonder if they are
doing the right things.
At
East West Karate we are parents and fully understand the
difficulties of parenting. We
watch parents
that set
boundaries and determine what their young child will or will
not do; these kids will likely become the leaders of the future.
We watch as other parents allow a child to make their own
choices and we see Wants winning out over Needs; these
kids have a greater risk of problems with commitment in their future -
according to psychological studies.
To assist parents, we provide a solid program designed to teach
kids and young adults to be responsible citizens that will be role models to others.
East West Karate's Character Development program is
NOT an activity like
baseball, soccer, basketball, dance, gymnastics, etc.
Cornerstone to East West Karate's curriculum is
the utilization of self-defense to teach valuable
life lessons and to help each student become his or her best.
Parents are
often confused between wanting to be their child's friend
and being a parent that sets boundaries.
Boundaries can make the difference between
well adjusted kids and
kids who are prone to problems.
To help your
child or teen become a role model, a leadership program that
reinforces good values and leadership is crucial to
achieving that goal. Hopping from one activity to another
will definitely provide a life lesson; how to give up or quit.
Studies indicate that children raised to satisfy
their wants instead of their needs grow up with less confidence
and are more likely to become followers. Martial Arts
training as found at East West Karate
helps to develop strong leaders through lessons in
confidence, self-control, self-discipline, respect, focus
and how to be a leader. Add
to that the benefits of physical conditioning, balance,
aerobic development, increased strength and self-defense,
and East West Karate's program
becomes the program of choice.
Martial Arts isn't an activity; it is a certain training
toward a leadership role.
East West Karate prides itself on
its purpose; to stress the
importance of being physically fit, emotionally prepared to meet the
world and to display a spirit of compassion for others and
life. Self-defense instruction, second to none, is taught by
Hall of Fame member Clayton L. McNally.
East West Karate brings self-confidence, respect, self-discipline, perseverance
and a positive attitude to each student.
All schools are not created
equal, most are mere profit centers. As a parent looking to
enroll your child or teen you can choose a school that views
families as a wallet to draw upon, or one where students and parents
are treated like family members, or a combination of the two.
If any school you look at charges testing
fees (other than a one time Black Belt test fee), belt fees,
Advanced Black Belt training prices, demo class fees,
upgrade packages or leadership classes - you may have found a
school that cares more for your money than you. You
will not find these additional fees at
East West Karate.
If you didn't
look at enrolling at East West
Karate, you are probably
paying too much for a self-defense that isn't the best in the
area. Don't become a blank check to someone; look at us and
find out why so many come here.
